Repi is a
multichannel platform that enhances and leverages the relationship between the
Pharmaceutical Industry and the Healthcare Professionals.
Healthcare
Professionals and Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives have at their
disposal several tools for a more agile and convenient two-way interaction,
namely the possibility of scheduling a traditional visit, a video-call with
promotional materials share, written messages exchange, web conferences and SMS
send.
All communications
require the prior authorization (specific and individualized double opt-in
process) of the users (Healthcare Professional and Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative).
The repi’s platform is a trademark of ActOne, S.A., a
commercial company registered at the Cascais Commercial Registry, with the tax
number 509050158 and headquartered at Estrada de Alfragide
nº67, Edifício F, Piso 1 Sul, 2610-008 Amadora.

Note: By
providing personal data on the repi platform and/or
through the website www.repi.pt, the user (Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative or Healthcare Professionals) authorizes that his/her personal
data can be used and processed by the repi team and
its owner and manager - ActOne, S.A. under the terms and conditions described
below.
Repi and
its owner and manager - ActOne, S.A., undertakes to comply with the repi’s Terms and Conditions of Use. The present Policy
Terms and the Conditions of Use establishes the necessary terms, requirements
and limitations for the repi’s use. By accessing or
registering on the repi platform you are entering
into a binding agreement with the entity ActOne, S.A. Throughout this document
any reference to repi is and it will always be
extended to its owner and manager - ActOne, S.A.
We are
constantly improving our products and services and adding new features to the repi platform as well as to the existing services and
products. Therefore, due to the constant changes and improvements, or to the
changes of the applicable legislation or to the evolution of the technology
itself, our practices regarding the use of the repi
platform may also change. If it occurs any amendment to these Terms and
Conditions of Use, repi will immediately notify the
user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative), as
well as the responsible local authority, in the cases required by the applicable
legislation.
The
continued use of the service after the amendment’s publication will imply its
acceptance. Therefore, the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical
Industry Representative) should frequently consult these Terms of Use,
including the Privacy Policy also available on the repi’s
website.
The Terms
and Conditions stipulate the terms in which the service is provided on the
website www.repi.pt and define the participation rules of all the users
(Healthcare Professionals or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative).
In order to
use the repi functionalities, either by a Healthcare
Professional or a Pharmaceutical Industry Representative, a registration is
mandatory. If it is a Healthcare Professional registration, it will always be
validated by the repi team in order to guarantee the
integrity of the information about the Healthcare Professionals on the
platform.
The
provision of the repi services is dependent on the
full acceptance of these conditions, so any user (Healthcare Professional or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) who disagrees or does not commit to
behave in accordance with these conditions must not use the services.
The
interpretation of these Terms and Conditions is exclusive of repi and its owner and manager - ActOne, S.A., who reserves
the right to modify them at any time. Please read carefully these provisions,
as well as the Privacy Policy, before using the available services. The service
use implies the acceptance by the user (Healthcare Professional or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) of the terms and conditions established
herein and in the Privacy Policy, also presented in the footer of the repi, as well as the commitment that the user (Healthcare
Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) is already over 18
years of age. If the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative) does not agree to any of the terms and conditions set forth
herein, it will not be permitted the use of the Service.
To use the repi’s features, the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative
must be registered in repi.
The repi team is responsible and carries out the entire
registration process of the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative through a
prior commercial agreement established between the entity that owns and manages
repi – ActOne, S.A. and the
Pharmaceutical Company, as the employer of the respective Pharmaceutical
Industry Representatives.
The
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and/or its Pharmaceutical Company
employer will be responsible for ensuring that only the Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative will have access to the reserved area and associated
email/mobile phone.
For the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s registration it is only needed an
email and a valid mobile number to benefit from all the platform features
(notifications, reserved area access, personal medical visits scheduling,
medical visits scheduling with video call feature, written messages exchange,
SMS send, among other services).
Platform’s
access credentials, namely the password and the username, will always be
provided to each Pharmaceutical Industry Representative by the repi team.
After the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative registration, the user will have access
to a unique reserved area, being responsible for managing and updating the
information exposed, in which no one (Pharmaceutical Industry Representative,
Healthcare Professional or any other entity) has access.
The
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s account may be canceled or suspended
at any time by the repi team, if it is reported any
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative abuse or misuse regarding the use of the
various functionalities available on the platform.
By
registering on repi, the Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative has read and accepts all terms set forth in this document.
The
Healthcare Professional Registry is free. To use the repi’s
features, the Healthcare Professional must register on the platform and wait
for its validation. The Healthcare Professional is responsible for ensuring
that only he has access to his reserved area and to the email/mobile phone
inserted in the registry.
Only
Healthcare Professionals registered in their respective Portuguese
orders/associations can register on repi. All the
specialties entered in the registry are also validated.
1.
Insertion of all the requested registration data (personal and professional),
in case of fraud suspect, the repi team reserves the
right to request, to any registered Healthcare Professional or within the
registration process, proof of the identification documents or proof of the
respective Portuguese order/association in order to verify the inserted
identification or the professional qualifications. If the Healthcare
Professional does not deliver, or in the absence of a response to the requests,
the repi team has the right to cancel, suspend or
remove its registration;
2. Email
and mobile phone validation in order to ensure that the Healthcare Professional
has access to the two channels of communication/notification of repi;
3.
Normally, the validation process is done in less than 24 working hours after
the email and mobile phone validation. The validation is verified in the
respective Portuguese order/association regarding the specialty(s) chosen.
The
Healthcare Professional, with his registration, has access to a reserved area
of his
own, being responsible to manage and update the provided information. No other
user (Pharmaceutical Industry Representative, Healthcare Professional or any
other entity) has access to the provided information, except for the
information that will be disclosed in the public profile (all the fields that
are public are marked in the reserved area as public fields).
By
registering in repi the Healthcare Professional reads
and accepts all the terms in this document and is responsible for all the
information displayed on his profile.
The
Healthcare Professional profile contains the only Healthcare Professional
information that is visible to all the Industry Representatives registered in repi and it is the Healthcare Professional responsibility
to complete and maintain the profile up-to-date. All the content exposed on
this profile is the sole responsibility of Healthcare Professional and it is
inserted by himself. Therefore, the repi team does
not carry out any type of validation of the provided information.
The profile
is structured in several editable fields that can be accessed in the reserved
area, and can be added, modified or removed at any time by itself, just by
accessing the reserved area.
In the
Healthcare Professional profile it is strictly prohibited to communicate or
advertise any product or service that does not fit the general terms of use of repi.
The
Healthcare Professional decides which features are active for each one of the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives from which they want to be contacted.
Therefore it is their responsibility to activate or deactivate them.
As a
communication platform, repi has prepared a
notification system that aims to accelerate and facilitate the communication
process between users (Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives and Healthcare
Professionals) and repi.
Repi does
not send any type of sms notifications between the 24
o'clock and the 9 o'clock of the following day. The notifications that should
follow in this period will be sent from 9 o'clock of the following day. The
e-mail notifications are sent when the features are used.
In the
notifications of interaction between users (Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative and Healthcare Professional) and/or repi,
the notifications by SMS and email are sent immediately after the use of the
platform functionality (registration, upgrades, etc.).
Repi
provides several communication services for the contact between the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and the Healthcare Professional: virtual
visits scheduling, personal visits scheduling, chat messages, SMS, e-mail m arketing, among other services.
The misuse
of these features and the non-compliance with these terms of use may result in
the suspension or removal of the registers of the Pharmaceutical Industry
Representatives and Healthcare Professionals.
A
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative can schedule a visit to the Healthcare
Professional’s workplace (previously defined by the Healthcare Professional in
his personal area) if the Healthcare Professional is available for this form of
interaction (specific and individualized double opt-in for this form of
interaction) and if the Healthcare Professional is a member of the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s Medical Panel.
The
Healthcare Professional has also the possibility of being proactive and request
a personal visit to the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and likewise,
the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative will have to belong to the REP Panel
of the Healthcare Professional.
Repi is
not responsible for the system or the scheduling criteria of the Healthcare
Professionals or the Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives and cannot be held
liable for the mismanagement or any other problem that the Pharmaceutical
Industry Representative and/or the Healthcare Professional has after the
personal visit scheduling.
Repi has
an automatic notification and confirmation system that reminds the participants
of the visit in order to assist the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and
the Healthcare Professional. However, the repi team
is not responsible for the presence of both on the scheduled day and time.
A Pharmacy
Representative can schedule a Virtual Visit, if the Healthcare Professional is
available for this form of interaction (specific and individualized double
opt-in for this form of interaction) and if the Healthcare Professional is a
member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s Medical Panel.
The
Healthcare Professional also has the possibility of being proactive and request
Virtual Visit to the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and likewise, the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative will have to belong to the REP Panel of
the Healthcare Professional.
To make a
video call visit it is necessary:
• Computer,
laptop, tablet or similar equipment;
•
Microphone (internal or external);
• Camera
(internal or external);
• Mozilla
Firefox, Internet Explorer 10 (or later), Google Chrome, or Opera Browser.
Repi is
not responsible for the system or scheduling criteria of the Healthcare
Professionals or the Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives and cannot be held
liable for the mismanagement or any other problem that the Pharmaceutical
Industry Representative and/or the Healthcare Professional has after the
Virtual Visit scheduling by repi.
Repi has
an automatic notification and confirmation system that reminds the participants
of the visit in order to assist the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and
the Healthcare Professional. However, the repi team
is not responsible for the presence of both on the scheduled day and time.
A Pharmaceutical
Industry Representative can send messages if the Healthcare Professional is
available for this form of interaction (specific and individualized double
opt-in for this form of interaction) and if the Healthcare Professional is a
member of the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s Medical Panel.
The
Healthcare Professional also has the possibility of being proactive and send
messages to the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and likewise the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative will have to belong to the REP Panel of
the Healthcare Professional.
Repi is
not responsible for the system or sending messages criteria by both parties and
cannot be held responsible for the mismanagement or any other problem that the
Pharmacy Representative and/or the Healthcare Professional has after the use of
this service.
A
Representative of the Pharmaceutical Industry can send an SMS to a Healthcare
Professional, if the Healthcare Professional is available for this form of
interaction (specific and individualized double opt-in for this form of
interaction) and if the Healthcare Professional is a member of the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative’s Medical Panel.
The
Healthcare Professional also has the possibility of being proactive and send an
SMS to the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and likewise the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative will have to belong to the REP Panel of
the Healthcare Professional.
Repi is
not responsible for the system or sending SMS criteria by both parties, and
cannot be held responsible for the mismanagement or any other problem that the
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and/or Healthcare Professional has after
the use of this service.
Repi
guarantees access to the platform, to the reserved area and to the
functionalities during 24 hours for 365 days a year, except if it occurs any
problems beyond the control of the platform or any maintenance which will
always be communicated in a timely manner to all the registered Pharmaceutical
Industry Representatives and Healthcare Professionals on the platform.
The access
to the reserved area is done by each user with their own credentials
(Healthcare Professionals or Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives). Repi does not provide passwords by email or by its support
lines except for the provisional password provided after the registration
process. If the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative) does not remember or has lost the password, he can define a new
password by using the functionality in the reserved area access menu: password
recover.
It is the
responsibility of the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and the Healthcare
Professional not to provide the access data to third parties. In case of theft
or loss of equipment which had access to the platform or access data, the user
(Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and Healthcare Professional) must
immediately notify repi and its owner and manager,
ActOne, S.A., in order to block the access to the reserved area.
The misuse
of the platform features or failure to comply with the conditions set forth in
these terms and conditions may result in the removal or suspension of
registration and the denial of the access to the reserved area and to the repi features.
Repi can
remove or edit the descriptions inserted by the Pharmaceutical Industry
Representatives, without having to mention the cause of the same;
Repi may
exclude the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative) from the service use (eg, prevent the
user from log in), when the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical
Industry Representative) has violated any of the conditions of use, herein
contained;
The repi team strives to operate properly without fail,
however, the repi team reserves the right to
temporarily suspend its operations for technical reasons or causes beyond their
control;
Repi is
not responsible for the behavior of the users (Healthcare Professionals or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives);
By
infringing any repi’s rule in force, the user
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives) will
assume all the liability which may result in damages or losses before any
entity, individual or collective, being repi exempted
of any type of responsibility;
The
messages and their attachments which are stored in the personal account, remain
in the system for a period of 2 years, unless otherwise indicated by the
Healthcare Professional, the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and/or its
Pharmaceutical Company employer.
Responsibility of the user (Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and
Healthcare Professional)
By
accepting these Service conditions, the user (Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative or Healthcare Professional) undertakes to:
• Provide
and maintain true, complete and up-to-date the personal data;
• Keep
confidential the access data of the repi’s register
and use solely the register which it is holder, assuming full responsibility
for the actions carried out with that same register, even if by third parties
with or without its authorization;
• Only
adopt behaviors that do not violate the applicable legislation or do not damage
legally protected positions;
• Do not
submit job offers, healthcare requests or hire Healthcare Professionals, or
communicate illicit products or services, neither
communicate products or services that can be considered violent, provocative,
offensive, racist or susceptible of violating the privacy or third parties
rights.
As long as
the Healthcare Professional does not assume full and exclusive responsibility
for the veracity of his personal data, although always validated by the repi team (in the register), he will never be able to
validate the professional experience and the aptitudes in its intervention
area.
Repi
undertakes to verify and approve or disapprove, in a binding or systematic way,
the contents inserted on the platform by the users (Healthcare Professionals or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives).
Repi may
terminate or suspend the right to use the Service at any time for any reason or
for no reason, by sending to its users (Healthcare Professional or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representatives and/or Pharmaceutical Company employer)
a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt which will take effect
immediately upon receipt of the notification.
Repi can
terminate or suspend the right to use the Service in case of non-compliance
with these terms or any other Policy published by repi,
or if the repi’s team considers that the user
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) had an
inappropriate and/or offensive behavior. If repi
terminates or suspend the right to use the Service for any of these reasons,
the Pharmaceutical Industry Representative and its Pharmaceutical Company
employer will not be entitled to any refund of the contracted amount by this
service. Repi reserves the right to initiate the
competent judicial, civil, criminal or other proceedings. Even after the
termination or suspension of the right to use the service, these terms will
remain applicable to the user (Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry
Representative).
The user
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) may
terminate this agreement at any time by ceasing all the use of the repi service. All the sections of this agreement which, by
their nature, must be applicable despite the expiry of the agreement, shall
remain in force after the expiry of the same.
The use of
the service is at the user's own risk (Healthcare Professional or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative). The service is provided on a "as
is" basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including,
but not limited to, commercial warranties. Repi and
its owner and manager (ActOne, S.A.) does not guarantee that the access to the
service will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor does it offer any guarantee as
to the results that it may generate with the use of the service. Repi, its representatives and employees are not responsible
for the conduct, online or offline, of any user (Healthcare Professional or
Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) of the service or of the relationship
conduct between the users (Healthcare Professionals or Pharmaceutical Industry
Representatives).
REPi
declines any responsibility for damages that may arise as a result of the use
of this website or any other sites linked to it. Likewise, no guarantee is
given that the access to this website will occur without any interruption or
error-free, viruses or other harmful material and it is not subject to any
claims, penalties, damages or expenses that may arise from the use or website
inability, or of unauthorized access or alteration thereof.
The User
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) agrees not
to transmit to this website any unlawful, defamatory, pornographic or any other
content that may constitute an illegal breach of any law, being expressly
prohibited the use of this website for illegal purposes or any other purposes
that could be harmful to the REPi’s image. REPi will collaborate with law enforcement authorities that
can order the disclosure of the identity of any person who transmits such
content.
The user
agrees not to assign any responsibility to repi and
its owner and manager, ActOne, S.A., its representatives and employees, for
damages, petitions, complaints, and/or conflicts that have been or may be
raised, known or not, related to the use or service use impossibility.
The user
also agrees not to assign any liability for acts resulting from conduct,
harassment, sexual or other harassment, acts of physical violence, destruction
of private property, destruction of information or from any dispute with any
user, any instruction, advice, act or service provided by repi
and its owner and manager, ActOne, S.A., or its employees and representatives.
In the
cases which this is permitted by law, ActOne, S.A. and its representatives are
not liable for financial losses or indirect damages, special, derivative,
exemplary or punitive damages, resulting from the use or service use
impossibility, even if alerted to this possibility.
The user
(Healthcare Professional or Representative of the Pharmaceutical industry)
undertakes to indemnify and defend repi and its owner
and manager – ActOne, S.A., its representatives and employees, agents, lawyers,
attorneys, service providers, suppliers, affiliates, and associates against all
claims, losses, expenses or other liabilities, including attorney’s fees and
associated costs, related to the use or inability to use the service. Repi and its owner and manager – ActOne, S.A. reserves the
right, on its own behalf, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any
subject matter related to the user’s indemnity (Healthcare Professional or
Representative of the Pharmaceutical industry). The user (Healthcare
Professional or Representative of the Pharmaceutical Industry) will not be able
to make any agreement, in case of a complaint, without the written consent of repi and its owner and manager – ActOne, S.A.
REPi is a
registered trademark whose exclusive use has been legally authorized under the
legal terms.
All the
other product names, trademarks, registered trademarks, service marks or
registered service marks mentioned in any part of this website belong to their
respective owners.
Any
product, process or service described on this website may be subject to other
industrial property rights held by our affiliated companies, not being licensed
on this website.
The use of
trademarks, product names, registered trademarks, service marks or other
industrial property rights mentioned in any part of this website, by third
parties not expressly authorized, are prohibited and will always be punished by
law, in accordance with the Portuguese legislation currently in force and the
international protection of Intellectual Property.
The content
of this website, including images, text, publicity, audio material, video or
other, is property of REPi and it is protected by
Copyright Law, in the general terms of law and by the national and
international intellectual property legislation.
It is not
permitted to display, reproduce, reuse, modify or transmit for public or for
commercial purposes the content, materials and information made available on
this website, including text, images, audio and video, without the prior and
express written consent of REPi.
The uses
authorized by law are an exception to this prohibition, namely the right of
citation, provided that its origin is clearly identified.
Some parts
of the website may contain images or videos copyrighted by the suppliers.
Personal
data provided to REPi, whether through e-mail, file
upload or others, will be considered non-confidential and non-reserved.
REPi
guarantees the privacy and the protection of the data used by its Users
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative). In
accordance with Law n.º 67/98 of October 26, it is guaranteed that the users
(Healthcare Professional or Pharmaceutical Industry Representative) have access
to their data and that they may request in writing the respective update,
correction or elimination, through the contacts available on the platform, in
accordance with the aforementioned.
Unless
otherwise specified, this Agreement shall be governed by the Portuguese law.
Regarding
the rights of repi and its owner and manager –
ActOne, S.A., under this Agreement or any applicable provision, its
non-exercise or the late or partial exercise, does not imply the waiver to any
right neither impede the late or partial exercise of any right and it will not
constitute any delay or novation of debt. This agreement constitutes the entire
contract between the user (Healthcare Professional or Representative of the
Pharmaceutical Industry and its Pharmaceutical Company employer) and repi and its owner and manager – ActOne, S.A., with respect
to the subject matter that is regulated. The declaration of invalidity or
ineffectiveness of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the
validity and effectiveness of the others provisions which shall be applied in
full. This agreement will be valid for the benefit of repi
and its owner and manager – ActOne, S.A., its users (Healthcare Professionals
or Representatives of the Pharmaceutical Industry), employees and
representatives.
